P&P Patents and Technologies works in the field of translational research to develop solutions for the prevention and control of infections.
It is a member of the POPS IS – Private Organisations for Patients Safety – Injection Safety, a workgroup created and coordinated by the World Health Organization to promote collaboration with private sector on the prevention of damages resulting from unsafe healthcare practices.
MISSION
To narrow the gap between pure and applied research, using the results of the best scientific experiences to solve daily life problems.
To contribute to the introduction of good practices in infection prevention and control in the health sector, where unsafe practices and poor hygiene conditions are the source of serious infectious diseases, including Hepatitis, HIV and other hospital-acquired infections (HAI) that cause millions of victims each year.
GOAL
To develop and market patents and innovative products in the field of health and well-being, defining network strategies and strategic marketing.
P&P works alongside the inventors, to know their history and motivations, with the aim of transforming innovation into a successful business. A carefully constructed activity to enhance and position the product at national and international level, starting from the definition of strategies through a mapping of market objectives, moving to the definition of the bases for the start-up phase, up to the construction of development plans and to the identification of financial and industrial partners.
A support that addresses also the regulatory and intellectual property aspects for a long-term product life strategy.
